Post Browser interfaces
I'm reading Help, and searching this forum, but I seem to have a difficult time finding basic answers.

I've been playing with Control pages even though I don't have a layout of my house yet. I'm using the one provided just to experiment.

I have a whole two Insteon devices installed: Front lights, and Garage lights.

I've put both of them on the Control Page. Fairly simple to do. They both work for controlling the lights. OK, that's the easy part.

The problem I have is with the Mini Page, the Basic Page, and the Widget.

The first device installed was Front Lights. This appears on all browser Pages. I later installed the Garage Lights device. It's on Control Page, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to show on Mini Page, Basic Page, and the Widget.

I never had to do anything special to get Front Lights to show on them all, but Garage Lights just doesn't show except on the Control Page.

What steps am I leaving out?

Front Lights is a ToggleLinc Relay
Garage Lights is a SwitchLinc Dimmer

Beta 7

Hi Terry,

The online help/manual has not yet been updated for 2.0, so all 2.0 specific features (client/server and control pages) aren't covered at all yet. This will obviously be addressed before 2.0 is officially released, but we probably won't have any official documentation until after the public beta period is over.

Double-click on each of your devices. Is the "Display in Remote UI" checkbox enabled in both cases? It sounds like it is turned off for your Garage Lights device. The mini and basic pages are not very customizable -- if you have that checkbox enabled then the device (or Action Group) will be visible, if you don't then it isn't visible.

Regards,
Matt
