 Insteon Feature Improvements? Can anyone provide a concise list of what the improvements are in 2.0 specific to Insteon? Since I have been migrating my HA modules from X-10 I have been missing a lot of the features supported with X-10 in Indigo 1.8, such as ramp rates, preset dimming and the ability to upload my program so I don't have to keep Indigo running.

Re: Insteon Feature Improvements? 2.0 has no real INSTEON improvements over version 1.8. The main features on the client/server architecture, control pages, built-in web server, better Time/Date Action control, multiple actions w/o having to create Action Groups, new UI, and native Intel support.
The next version (2.1 or 2.5) should have several new INSTEON features.

IS the client server over the internet or just LAN.

As long as you have access to TCP port 1176 on the server machine, the GUI Indigo client will work anywhere.
