 Changing scheduled times
I use the simulated sunrise every morning, is it possible to change the time from my iPhone/iPad?
Sometimes my work schedule changes amd I need different start times, and shut off times. I wasn't sure if I could adjust this from a device instead of going to the computer.
Using indigo 5 PRO

 Re: Changing scheduled times
Not directly. I suppose it might be possible to store the time in a variable then have a variable change trigger that catches the variable change and alters the schedule time - but it would require a script to do it.

 Re: Changing scheduled times
So I guess I could have various actions for when I go to sleep and wake. For example: Sleep/up early and I could disable and enable schedules for those sunrise times.

 Re: Changing scheduled times
If you have just a certain set of times (7am, 8am, etc) then you could have a variable that represents that time set. Then, have some triggers that watch for that variable to change and enable/disable the various schedules. You could then have a control page that has buttons for each of the time sets and tapping on them would change the value of the variable and everything else would just happen in the background.

That's a good idea.... and another reason to create a new control page! Thanks FYI: Simple and FREE photoshop like program is GIMP http://www.gimp.org/Great for making control page images

 Re: Changing scheduled times
Ok... this may be over kill. I set up a control page with several time options (we have different schedules due to work) This page is what I came up with. The buttons change the variable, that triggers to enable or disable schedules...
Ill be testing it out this week...

Thanks for sharing ! .. I am wondering if you have installed / are running it now ? My side, I would love to be able to email a change to the wake up schedule and use a script to adjust my current "wake up schedule" ... Not sure anybody has done that ... Thank you !

 Re: Changing scheduled times
Thanks,
I didn't use any script. Each button sets off the time trigger. The sun rise is the tutorial on wiki page. I adjusted it somewhat for my LED lights..
Now with the new thermostat wired in, the heat starts 5 to 10 minutes before the sunrise goes off.

 Re: Changing scheduled times
you could try looking at this thread. Start on page 2; has worked great for me. Pull up a variable and change directly from your iPhone.
