Ok, I see the problem... You have to run the Weather Underground script from the contributions library. That will populate Wunderground_Precip_today_in

Post Re: Multiple Sprinkler Device Plugin
This plugin looks very interesting to me - I would like much better ability to control each zone independently rather than simply starting a watering cycle.

I've downloaded it, but can't figure out how to get it to do anything. Double-clicking on "MasterIrrigation.indigoPlugin" doesn't do anything. I searched through the package and found a file called "PluginConfig.xml" which seems to contain the information that's supposed to be in the opening screen, but in an xml format. I tried opening it in Safari, but didn't get anything like the screen shown in the users guide (same text, but no options to do anything with it).

What am I missing here?

Thanks

You need to define a plugin type device for each of your zones, plugin: Master Irrigation, type: irrigation zone... then hit the configure button to set how long and how often it's supposed to run.

Sorry, but I'm still confused. If I try to define a plugin type device, the selectors for "Plugin" and "Model" are grayed out - I can't define anything yet. It appears that the plugin hasn't been installed. But it also appears that I can't install it.

The first sentence under "Installation" says
Unzip the plugin distribution and then double-click the MasterIrrigation.indigoPlugin. Indigo will present a dialog window, click Install and Enable.

But that dialog window never appears.

I downloaded it several months ago, so my memory is a bit vague, but as I recall, it installed itself automatically into Indigo 5.1. It immediately appeared in the Plugins Menu and as soon as I selected enable there, I could define devices; there wasn't anything in the plugin configure menu except a debug option.

Make sure you're running the latest Indigo release and when you double-click on the plugin you must do it on the Mac that the Indigo server is running on.
