Hi

I'm having a problem with my Mac occasionally going to sleep even though I have set the system setting to never sleep.
Indigo 5 is running on a Mac Mini (core 2 duo OS X 10.7.2).

Today when I got home I realized the system was down and found this message in the Indigo event log

Received sleep notification from system
Closed connection to PowerLinc 2413S

Is there a way for Indigo to tell the system NOT to sleep

Any help would be appreciated

Nope, Indigo can't keep it awake - not sure why it's going to sleep though if you have sleep disabled in the Energy Saver preference pane.

I recently upgraded to Version 5 with the PowerLink 2413U and I just noticed the same message on my Mac :

I never saw this when using Version 4 and the 2414U. Also I've noticed that recently my timed events stopped executing. I'm assuming it's because my system was asleep? Is that normal? As I said, I never noticed it with version 4 and the older PowerLink that I was using.

Just for grins I would start a continous ping against something and see if that
makes your mac keep-alive. Like your home router. It may not help nor
stop the snoozing but it's a zero cost thing that might yield a pointer or
direction to go.
Oh well, just a thought.

Yes, the 2413U doesn't support any type of standalone operation. Indigo has to be running (and your Mac awake) for it to execute schedules and triggers. You can still have your display put to sleep of course, but the Mac will need to be awake for Indigo to continue to do its processing.

Yup this is the problem I had - I think the energy saver settings were reset when I upgraded to Mountain Lion.

FWIW you can still put the display and HDD(s) to sleep.
