Access Point Setup - Access Point # 2442
I'm trying to install the two Access Points: #2443 is purchased.
I am following the instructions and starting the first Access Point of blinking and sounding once a second. I then tried EVERY other outlet in my home with the second Access Point and none of them produced the result of the second Access Point blinking and sounding in kind as described in the directions once it is on another phase of the 120v...
I've been through this routine 4 times trying each Access Point as the first etc.... What do I need to do?
Best Regards, Mike

It's possible that one of your APs are bad. I'd contact Smarthome (or wherever you purchased them) and see what they say.

Re: Access Point Setup - Access Point # 2442
Same thing here, but:
My apartment is on 1 single circuit, so this technically is happening with me too (expectedly). Is there any harm in having both AP's plugged in at the same time? Is the instructional "first AP", "second AP steady LED" setup process actually required for the AP's to function?

No harm at all in using 2 APs on the same power leg. They'll both act as RF and power line repeaters (but not bridges) in that case.
