Post Editing Actions
I'd like to suggest a UI change.

For example, if I double-click an Time/Date action, the cursor is placed in the "Name" field. I'd like to be able to hit [Tab] and end up in the Time box (I can understand skipping the sub-menu Trigger/Condition/Action buttons). From there, the [Tab] key works as I'd expect.

The same change would apply to editing devices, triggers and groups.

I'm not sure why the [Tab] was disabled for leaving the Name field, but once I get out of there, the rest of all the dialogs work as I'd expect ([Tab] advances, [Shift][Tab] backs up)

Thanks!

Steve

Yeah, that's bothered me in the past as well. The reason is because the other responders are inside a view inside a tab view. Not that it can't be fixed, but it's just more code to make sure that that field is in the responder loop. I've added it to the todo list.

Thanks! I'm one of those people who can type much faster when I don't have to take my hands off the keyboard, move the mouse, and then start typing again.

And while you're at it, [Enter/Return] should accept the changes (like clicking on OK) [Esc] should cancel the changes...
