Unfortunately not. I believe there is a fairly long thread about this somewhere a while back.
I did investigate for a bit I seem to recall.
Group messages are given a unique long ID by iMessage once they are first sent. This ID then needs to be referred to access later. Buddy’s and BuddyIDs are not used basically.
So there was no way to create this, I even investigated using an existing Group Message (send one manually first) and then use for future reference. But even that wasn’t possible I seem to recall, based on how the message is recalled with applescript —> iMsg basis.
