OSX question shared computer

I changed the IP number of a MAC mini running indigo. (all fixed devices now are < 100, temp wifi and visitors go > 100)

In finder on my other MAC(old-pro) it shows up as bonjour compute but it seems it still uses the old IP number. Manual connect work: going through filer/go/connect to server .

I have searched the internet postings, but no success.

So here the QUESTION: how /where can one reset the BONJOUR server listing?

any pointer appreciated

thanks

Karl

Hi Karl,

If stopping/restarting the Indigo Server doesn't get it fixed, then try rebooting your router.

found it 1 minute after post:

1. stop in terminal
sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist

2. restart in terminal
sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist

3. relaunch finder
