I do recall back in the day I was able to get the command from my keychain xc-10 remote (similar to, if not this; https://www.amazon.com/X10-Security-Keyfob-Remote-USA/dp/B01N4F75N4)
I am getting the signals transmitted via RF interface.W800USB When pressed I get the appropriate commands received from the top four buttons
- Code: Select all
Received RF security command disarm (ID 190)
However in the devices for triggers the best I can get is for a trigger to get that a generic signal was sent. This means I can toggle a boolean state true/false when any of the four keys is pressed. Id like to set up separate triggers for not only each specific key, but potentially different keys on a separate remote as well... but let's start with the one for now.
I dont recall if I used to have an applescript to read the logs to parse the info, I don't remember how to do that anymore... it has been years since my system was nuked and the backup drive also died!
I have downloaded the SDK kit and installed all the drivers but nothing seems to get me where I need to be.
I have tried adding devices using all the remote 'types'. eg: Remote Button - SlimFire KR19A but the remote doesnt have an 'address'
I have read several variations on instruction about registering such as holding the top two button, nothing... These are circa 2014.
I am getting codes/signals received, Now what?
Question:
Is it possible to parse these appropriately?
