Feature Request: Variable Auto-Off Delay
I would like a new feature for making the "auto-off after" value settable to a variable. For example, I have a scheduled action that turns on my pool's pump at a certain time each day. I'd like an easy way to turn it back off after some variable amount of time. In the winter, the pump doesn't need to run nearly as long as in the summer. Additionally, in the summer, the amount of time it runs depends somewhat on usage, needed heat, etc. Rather than editing the "turn on the pump" scheduled action, I'd like to be able to modify a variable, possibly automatically through some other calculating script. Additionally, this would help clean up the Schedules list by making it unnecessary to have separate "turn it off" events, if that method is used to make variable off times.
In the meantime, I will do a little head scratching to see if I can figure out a way to script this in Python or Applescript (any help in that department would certainly be appreciated
