Post Minor UI Bug: Undefining Device
Matt,

This is just a minor annoyance, but there is a small bug in the UI when you attempt to undefine an INSTEON device by clearing its address.

To reproduce:
1. Double-click on a device that has an address.
2. Click Define and Sync...
3. Clear each of the three fields for the device address.

Note that you must click the Cancel button to dismiss the dialog, however, the undefined address state is saved.

I would expect that removing a device's address would be allowed; and, in fact, this is something I've done on a couple of occasions recently to remove a dead or unused device from my list to prevent command retransmissions due to lack of acknowledgement. It seems to me that the options would be Cancel and Save, or Cancel and Close. Cancel should restore the address to its prior state, and the other button should commit the change and mark the device's address as undefined.

I'm using Beta 13.

(While I'm at it, I'll also add a vote to a prior poster's suggestion to auto-tab to the next address field when you have filled two characters.)

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the bug report. You are correct.. the Cancel button doesn't revert the address back like it should.

Regards,
Matt
