 Open Windows Not Persistent
Quitting/Relaunching beta 5 (and earlier betas) doesn't maintain the set of windows I have open on quit. The only window that opens on launch is my "Home Window". Although I have the "Event Log" and "Variable List" windows open on quit, they aren't persistent.
Also - I have Indigo (client) set as a login item, with "Hide" checked. However, Indigo is not hidden upon its launch as a login item.

I've never had this problem with the Indigo betas. The main, log and variables window open whenever I start an Indigo client.
Maybe you can try to move the "Indigo Server Prefs" file inside the preferences folder of Indigo to your desktop and restart the client and server. That might help.
And if it doesn't, you can put the "Indigo Server Prefs" back to it's old position, so you won't have to enter all your settings again.
(Indigo preferences can be found in Library>Application Support>Perceptive Automation>Indigo 2>Preferences.)

 Re: Open Windows Not Persistent
I wonder if it is the Hide option that is causing the log and variable windows to not show.
Is there any particular reason you want the client to run on login? I was thinking most users would have the server auto-run on login (via the checkbox in the Start Indigo Server... dialog), and then they would launch the client whenever they needed the GUI. Launching just the GUI client should be pretty quick since the server will already be running.
Regards,
Matt

Matt -
You may be right re: the "Hide" option in login items. When I simply quit/launch the client, all 3 windows show where I expect (I was mistaken in my earlier post - it is only upon startup that the main window only appears). Any chance of getting the "Hide" option to hide the main window too?
As for why I keep the client running - I like to monitor the event log, as well as device/variable status.

Me too, except I don't hide the Client. Everything else gets hidden, but not Indigo. It's my main app on the mini.
