 Search on Device ID
No biggie but it would be nice if the search box also searched on the Device ID.

 Re: Search on Device ID
I've been thinking about some things along this line. Can you explain exactly what you were doing that you needed to know the ID? Where were you getting the ID you want to look up in the first place?

 Re: Search on Device ID
Nightly I look for X-10 motion detectors that have not picked up motion in a few days, likely time to change the batteries. My script has the IDs hardcoded in the SQL queries. First time with new SQL tables one came back. Even sorting on ID it's bit tricky to find with out commas in the ID.
Never mind, thinking about it now I just need to add one more step to the script, looking up the device name. I just quickly rewrote it after the SQL changes and today was the first time it picked something up for real. Thanks.

Charlie, I am re-adding this feature into Switchboard... (It use to be in the proceeding Indigo Security Script...) Somehow when I rewrote it as a plugin, that feature was missed.... So X10 Heartbeat monitoring will be available, in v0.7x+ of the Switchboard plugin... And switchboard will give you the proper name, etc, of the device... So that might be an alternative to your hard coded sql queries... - Ben

Just as an update. I have v0.70 ready, I am currently testing it.... You can define each X10 device, with a different Heartbeat timeout value... (The default is 200 minutes). I expect to release it, within the next couple of days.... - Ben
