[SOLVED]smoke alarm trigger text message

I've been searching the forums for info on having indigo send me a text message with no luck. Can anybody send me in the right direction. What I want to do is if my smoke bridge sees action group one, to send me a text stating "smoke detected".

Perhaps I do not have exactly your setup, BUT i do get smoke detection as message on my Iphone.
I use "Pushover" (see add-on: indigo-pushover) to get smoke alarm

All the US cell phone providers have an email to SMS bridge that allows you to send an email to a prescribed email address and it gets sent to your phone as an SMS. For AT&T, it's PHONENUM@txt.att.net.

There is also a plugin called google voice SMS that is pretty handy.

Another alternative would be to use scripting to send an iMessage to save on carrier text costs if you don't have an unlimited plan.
