[SOLVED]: Aeotec Keyfobs or similar?

I have now some devices on my Z-Wave network (including motion sensor, water leak sensor, siren, and so on) and don't have (yet a control page finished).

I'm controlling Indigo, via Mac client or via the Touch app.

But, for the other family members I want they are able to turn ON and OFF the alarms (like the motion trigger in the living room) without my help or other "device" until I have some sort of tablet showing the control page.

I was thinking doing this with the keyfobs, to turn the triggers on and off. This is necessary, because someone is maybe longer let's say in the living room (where the entrance has to be monitored) watching TV and so, I can't set up the triggers by time, or date or whatever.

Is it possible somehow, to do this with a keyfob? Let's say, the last was which is leaving the rooms downstairs has to activate the motion triggers which will turn on the siren when intrusion is detected.

If yes, which one are supported? I want to buy the small ones (like this one:

Thanks for your help!

Re: Aeotec Keyfobs or similar?

Solved, I've got the Aeotec Key Fob Gen5 (ZW088), can enable the triggers I want.

Hi Yassi,

can you please explain how you configured the Key Fob? I have the same but all I see is a portable remote controller in Indigo but I cannot configure the buttons.
Indigo does not recognize the key fob

Re: [SOLVED]: Aeotec Keyfobs or similar?

Hi Erik,

is yours already included?
I've pressed the controller button and the button "4" (learn), but I had to press also the two small buttons at once on the back side (with the attached pin), otherwise I was not able to sync it.

I have it now in my devices list, see screenshot.

Until now I have only two triggers on it like this:

Button 1 pressed: switch master alarm on (in my case a trigger for now - an action group will follow) - sets a trigger on (motion sensor)
Button 1 held down: disable the master alarm trigger

Button 2 pressed: switches on the LED stripes in the office
Button 2 held down: switches off the stripes (for now this one doesn't function, don't know why, it shows in the log file as off but the lights remain on - posted her in the forum)

At all you can have 8 actions with the buttons, 2 per button.
