[Q]: Switchlinc V2 (firmware 37) slow response from trigger

I have an older switch, a Switchlinc V2 (firmware 37) that I send an OFF message through a trigger. When this trigger fires, it takes 4-7 seconds for the lights to turn off. Similar trigger with a Switchlinc v2 Relay (firmware 63) fires and responds very fast. The older switch, has some higher wattage halogen lights connected, can this be the cause? Or, should I just upgrade the switch?

Re: [Q]: Switchlinc V2 (firmware 37) slow response from tri

This sounds to me like power line noise, but it could also be a command collision. If you control the switch in Indigo via the UI (not via a Trigger) is it fast? If so, then it is probably a collision caused by the incoming command that starts the trigger and Indigo's outgoing command to control the switch. Adding a 2 second delay to the action can help, as can moving around dual-band modules which will change the command path.
