No insteon-indigo communication.

I'm trying to set up a few insteon controlled power outlets and light switches to follow programs while I'm away. I have an insteon lamp module as well and a few months ago when I first got Indigo 5 set up, I had it working just fine on a test lamp plugged into a wall.

After hard wiring a few switches today, I noticed I can't connect to any of them, nor can I connect to the lamp module. About the only thing that has changed in my house's configuration over the last few months was adding a whole-house surge protector to my main electrical panel (saw it done a million times on Holmes on Homes, thought it sounded like a good idea). Could that be the cause of the new problems connecting to devices?

thanks,
Matt

Re: No insteon-indigo communication.

Unfortunately that seems possible. You can try moving the lamp module around just to see if it works anywhere. Also make sure that you have the two phases of your electrical system bridged appropriately.
