 Indigo and Insteon
I am running the Indigo 5 Pro with a Powerlinc 2414 and have added Insteon Switchlinc V2 dimmers in place of a Switchlinc 1181. In setting this up with Insteon chosen, I get "this module version doesn't allow remote programming etc." When I set the %brightness and ramp speed at the switch it works fine pressing the switch, but trying to control the module from the Indigo 5 it ramps to full brightness. What am I doing wrong? The Switchlinc allowed me to set these from the Indigo 5 without problem.

 Re: Indigo and Insteon
Inside Indigo Re-Sync those modules (from the Device dialog) and Indigo should pull in the manual settings you've defined. Although Indigo can not write those settings to the switch remotely, it will be able to read them out.

 Re: Indigo and Insteon
Matt, you are wonderful. ReSyncing worked perfectly. Thank you.
Second question. I sent a post March 3 when I first set up the Indigo 5 Pro about having the lights in my dining room slowly dim over a period of time. I have just set that up and am including the log. It is dimming sequentially as I want, but doing it without the five minute delays. Essentially going from 50% to 4% in a few seconds. More help please!Mar 23, 2012 10:42:21 AM Trigger Diningroom light Sent INSTEON "Diningroom Light" on to 50

No difference. What am I doing wrong? If you get this solved, everything I have wanted with the Indigo will be working. Thank you, Jim

 Re: Indigo and Insteon
Actions aren't processed sequentially - they are executed at the same time. So, you need to increase the delay for each subsequent action so that they'll end up executing over 5 minutes. Or - since it is an INSTEON light, you can create a PowerLinc Scene that controls the light with the built-in ramp rate. See the Managing INSTEON PowerLinc Scenes section of the INSTEON Link Management doc for details.

 Re: Indigo and Insteon
JAY, Thank you very much. Increasing the delay worked. When Matt sent the original answer that was what he suggested, I just didn't understand it. You guys make having the Indigo a pleasure. I had asked Smarthome where I purchased the Insteon about the same thing and didn't receive a call back as promised.
