Post Odd command received from Thermostat
I am seeing seemingly random commands sent to my thermostat occasionally.
Code: Select all
Received INSTEON                "Upstairs Thermostat" humidity changed to 47.0
Received INSTEON                "Great RM Thermostat" temperature changed to 77.0
Received INSTEON                "Upstairs Thermostat" off (button 1)
Received INSTEON                "Upstairs Thermostat" temperature changed to 75.0

Does anyone know what "off (button 1)" means? Why would the thermostat receive an off command, I didn't even know you could turn it off? We tried pressing different buttons on the thermostat but could not get an "off (button 1)" to show up in Indigo log, so this is just happening on its own apparently.

That is just the thermostat reporting when the AC compressor and/or furnace is actually being turned ON and OFF by the thermostat (as the temperature crosses the setpoints). Indigo then updates an internal device state to reflect this change, which is shown as glowing red/blue dots in the UI next to the thermostat controls.

Thanks, that was it! Appreciate the prompt reply.

If the information is available in the INSTEON command, not sure that it is, consider adding "Heat on/off" or "A/C on/off" instead of system on/off in the log messages.
