I had an Insteon 2476S On/Off Switch go bad on me and quit working. I ordered a Zooz ZEN26 Relay Switch to replace it with since Insteon seems to be harder to find nowadays. During the installation I got the Line and Load confused and suddenly heard clicking from my Insteon 2476D Dimmer Switch connected to the same neutral and load. Now my Insteon 2476D Dimmer Switch isnt working. The light fixture it is connected to keeps blinking on and off. Is the dimmer pretty much shot?

What are peoples go to / reliable switch / dimmer that they use?

You probably already saw it, but Jay recommended some Z-Wave switches on your other thread here. Getting a Zooz Dimmer like your relay would an option.

Your Insteon switch does sound dead. I recently had one malfunction on me after a brown out and it was continuously toggling the load on and off. You can try factory resetting it, but in my case that didn't help.
