Post 2477S SwitchLinc dual-band with version 42 i2cs
Hi,

Is there support for the version 42 i2cs engine in Indigo version 5.1.5 ?

I'm having trouble connecting to my 2477S. I'm running Indigo version 5.1.5 using the 2412 or 2413 controller (not sure which) as indicated by the software config setting, but definitely not the 2414.

This is my first 2477S in my installation. I have several other dual band SwitchLincs in my installation, but they are dimmers and the firmware for those are version 40 i2.

The 2477s comes up on the Define Insteon Device screen as version 42 i2cs engine. Indigo and the device seem to communicate as indicated by the active link icon graphic, but fails at the last step.

I believe that firmware should work without a problem. From the Event Log it looks like it might be a signal problem. Try moving your PowerLinc to a few different outlets (using an extension cord since we are just troubleshooting) to see if you can get it defined with a different signal path.

Also try factory resetting the SwitchLinc.

Ok that's good to know.

I know it's on a different leg that I've done 2 previous installations on.

I'll try verifying it's not the unit but the communication.

I moved a 2443 Access point onto the same leg I know works with the 2 previous installations and re-synced, and it worked!

btw, thanks for a great product. I have 26 physical devices all working well with the Insteon protocol using Indigo 5.
