Contributing to any Open Source Plugin

This section of the forums is meant to discuss the Open Source Plugins that we host in our GitHub repository. We've written up guide to contributing to existing open source plugins on GitHub that describes how you can contribute changes to any of these, or in fact, any 3rd party plugin that's been open sourced on GitHub (which, as it turns out, is most of them).

If you are contributing to one of the plugins hosted by us, you may see a familiar name over there. The esteemed @FlyingDiver from here in the forums has graciously volunteered to be our Open Source Repository Manager. This means that he has full access to those repositories and can accept your Pull Requests, discuss them with you, include them, and create new releases. This has already helped us out significantly and will be even more important moving forward as we add more plugins to our repo as it allows us to focus all of our attention on the core product.

Give @FlyingDiver a pat on the back for assuming this responsibility! :D

Note that you can probably help even if you aren't a developer: each repo has an associated wiki where most of the plugins are putting their documentation. You can follow a very similar process to as outlined in the article above to make changes to the wiki. Contributing to the documentation is as important as contributing code.
