 LED Strip Lights
Hey,
Being a complete sucker for any form of lighting I picked up some LED color strip lights for accenting here and there and was rather surprised at how easy they were to automate. Most come with an IR remote that IRed learns codes from easily then I just send the signal thru a Powermid to the lights location. Some units come with a 44 button remote which is very nice in that you can have 6 presets for your favorite color/brightness settings without sending a bunch of signals. Makes for really nice under cabinet lighting especially when automated for time of day, occupancy etc. Love having a dim blue effect for night lighting.

Hi Carl,
Great tip -- thanks for sharing. Do you have the details on the brand you bought?

 Re: LED Strip Lights
Here's one I picked up on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/220839688409?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648There's really a lot to choose from there. Just installed a strip in our breezeway entrance to light a garden...super WAF! Carl
