Looking for feedback on a new site concept
Hi guys, I have been working with a concept for a new site called DeviceKnit and the idea is it's like a cookbook for gadgets and electronics, so people can share the different electronics setups they are using to solve problems or accomplish goals. We are also working on ways that people can discover these tech recipes (which we are calling "implementations") based on the devices they already own or goals they want to accomplish.
As we move toward a first real version of the web app (it's still in the early stages at
http://deviceknit.com) and begin to build up content, we've been trying to get more involvement from people who have great home automation setups to share. I recently came across Indigo, and it would be great if there were someone willing to share a setup that uses that.
Anyway, I hope this doesn't seem spammy, I've been careful about where I'm posting and only targeting communities that I think can provide good feedback and may lead to some potential users. Please let me know what you think of the concept and any feedback you have. And if you are so inclined we would love it if you could share some of your "implementations" or comment/vote on the ones that are already on the site.
Thanks!
John
