In the interest of automating my Blue Haven pool, I was curious how one might extend the range of an IRTrans to reach outdoor equipment (the pool panel). Can one plug an IRTrans into the ethernet port of a Time Capsule/Airport Extreme?

Also, while I know some work has been done to add bluetooth control of Rooba vacuums, has anyone heard of something similar for iRobot’s pool vacuum, the Verro? There’s one spot in the middle of my pool the darned thing never reaches.

Re IRTrans. The Ethernet version should work fine via AirPort Extreme/Airport Express when used to extend a LAN.

I have used it in such a fashion to control an AC unit that I can't get a hard data wire to.
