Garage door function needed

I have a Zwave tilt device on my garage door. I need a function that would sense the door opening and after a predefined time alert me via email or text that the door was not closed. Providing the delay is not obvious to me.

You probably want to use the Timers and Pesters plugin. Start a timer when the door opens, Stop it when the door closes, have the Timer send an email when it expires.

As it turns out, I delayed a variable in changing state. Thanks for your help.
