I believe Microsoft puts something like this in all their software for some reason...maybe so they can show you how pretty their startup images are.Ir insure you take regular breaks from computing.

I now own too much computing power

Holy crap I can't imagine a server like that at home. (Or at work for the matter, my god that thing is a hoss.) I have an old Mac Pro and even that's way WAY too much for my use. I barely scratch the surface with Indigo, Plex, iTunes and like 6 little Linux VMs providing various network services.

How much power does that thing consume on average? I don't think my house could even support it.
