 log data into Excel
Can anyone give me a basic idea on how to extract data from the log into Excel? Something similar to logging into iCal but using Excel instead.

 Re: log data into Excel
Hi Bob,
You should be able to import the log files into Excel. They are tab delimited if I remember correctly. Or do you mean something else?
Regards,
Matt

 RE: log data into Excel
Matt,
Thanks for your reply.
I am only at the early stage of basic Applescripting. What I would like is to see any events taking place in an ordered format in Excel. What and when a device changes state is mostly what I am looking to log in excel. I posted hoping someone might be able to give me a rough script to give me an idea what is required to get me started.
