As far as I can tell the iSight stays on only for a second or two while the isightcapture function is running.

There are different ways to set this up. You have to personalize it to be cool. It is crazy how you play with Indigo and scripts. For this to work, the isight has to be turned on...but it is only recording during the snap shot. Ian

If you really want to be serious about the camera stuff, you should check out EvoCam. It has a nice motion detector feature that's applescriptable. I use it just like a regular motion detector with some network webcams, Indigo doesn't know the difference.

Regarding SpyCamera script:

I'd like to add one line to the script, but I haven't figured out Applescript. Something to save the pic2.png file with timestamp appended into another folder before overwriting it with the new pic2.png file.
