Fan Speed

Could you guide me on the range for the speed settings for a HA Fan Device ? Have you mapped it to an Indigo SpeedControlDevice where I should set speed on a 0-100 scale (https://wiki.indigodomo.com/doku.php?id ... peed_index)?

I have a complicated python script I use for my fan speed control that I've adjusted over the years. I'm have a Big Ass Fans, which have a native speed control of 0-7. Right now it's way out of wack.

The Indigo UI only allows for 4 "speeds" for a fan - Off, Low, Medium, High. Those values are mapped to HA's 0-100 range at 0, 33, 66, 100. So those are the speeds you can send to HA. How the HA integration maps those to the BAF's available speeds is up to that Integration.

I was going to say that you can use the HAA "Send generic command" action to send any value to want to HA to get a value you want, but I appear to have limited that command to generic devices (which are limited to entity types that don't have a specific Indigo device). Hmph.

Open an issue on GitHub and I'll add a custom action for setting the fan speed (0-100 range). After that, it's up to the HA integration to map those values to the correct ones for the BAF.
