I suddenly started getting the error;

DNSServiceProcessResult err = -65541

It is popping up continuously in the event log.
It started after one of my Keypads blew out.

Does anyone know what this is and how I can fix?

The two aren't directly related. That error is a very low-level networking error coming from the Mac OS networking APIs. Hopefully rebooting your Mac will fix it.

Getting the same issue. Will try rebooting.

Rebooting fixed it but now it's back again. Is the error something to be concerned with? What is it prohibiting? I don't want to have to keep rebooting if it's not hurting anything (the mac itself seems to function just fine, so not sure what this is indicating).

Is there a way to supress the error message if it is not critical?

The latest version of Indigo (released yesterday) suppresses the error message so it is only shown a couple of times a day.

I believe when the error occurs Bonjour services no longer work, and there might be other networking issues. It is a Mac OS bug unfortunately and doesn't just effect Indigo. I don't know of permanent fix/workaround.

Interesting. Any idea if it might be related to this article I found via DF: Why DNS in OS X 10.10 is broken, and what you can do to fix it? It appears that Apple may have gotten rid of mDNSResponder after all these years and replaced it with a not-fully-baked discovered.

I tried doing a killall of the discoveryd, but the error message persisted after launchd restarted it.

I don't know for sure that it is, but I suspect all these DNS problems are because of Apple's change to discoveryd.
