Indigo Domotics

I downloaded the Tapatalk app for the iPhone hoping I can view this forum on the app. It appears as if the forum administrator needs to activate Tapatalk support in his forum before members can access it. Is it possible to use Tapatalk with this forum? If yes, can you please turn on this option?

It doesn't work with the version of phpbb that we use. It's also a plugin which we try to avoid - when we looked at it last year it was causing some significant problems with phpbb installations. If/when we decide to upgrade phpbb, we'll look into it at that point. But it's not going to happen any time soon.

Hi, i am a new user getting ready to switch from Vera to Indigo, and the forum is a great resource, thanks for it. however the forum really is super hard to use on an iPhone. If there is anything you guys can do to make it format better (or perhaps ideally the tapatalk plugin is an option now in November?) without a lot of work, that would be really great. I know you are busy, just wanting to add a +1 to this request fwiw. Thanks.

Yep, we hear you. I use tapatalk myself for other forums and like it. The next time we are doing web site updates I'll see if the forum plugin is more reliable now.

fwiw, micasaverde's forum has been using tapatalk for quite some time (years i think) and the end-user experience has been rock solid (and as far as i can tell the forum has been stable, but i of course don't see the admin side so can't say for sure they are not having to reboot it on the half hour .

Just ran across Tapatalk for another forum I frequent. I like it. I immediately tried it with this forum. Found this thread. I think an app like this makes it easier to contribute to the forums.

Resurrecting this to keep it in the radar. It's really easy to add the Tapatalk plugin to Phpbb sites ya know...

We hear ya - this reorg was about structure not about software upgrades though.

We've just enabled tapatalk support for the forums.
