I just saw something interesting in my event log from a motion sensor:

Received INSTEON "Hall Sensor" on (button 4)

Button _4_? I thought Insteon motion sensors only sent three group commands (motion detected, dawn/dusk, and battery low). The only things that have changed recently are that I upgraded Indigo to 4.1.4, and replaced the battery in the motion sensor. Has anyone else seen this?

(Incidentally, the motion sensor isn't sending motion-detected messages properly at the moment for some reason, that may have something to do with it too.)

I've never seen that before. You are correct that they should only send group/button 1, 2, and 3 messages. If you seen 4 more than once, then I would try factory resetting it and/or replacing the battery.

Thanks Matt! Yep, my thoughts exactly. It was wacky while it lasted, but after a factory reset it's now back to normal.
