I open a window in Terminal and type your command

http://localhost/++systemInfo >info.xml

Security Spy webserver usually runs on port 8176.

Try this:

http://localhost:8176/++systeminfo

My mistake (well, typo). You need to include the port number:

(or whatever port number you told it to use in the web server setup window).
