Cynical SecuritySpy plugin losing connections

I've noticed that Indigo often loses connections to my SS instance running on another machine. This is sometimes due to SS spontaneously quitting, or network blips, or whatever. The short form is that the plugin doesn't reconnect, and I'm left with all my cameras listed as "unavailable" in the Indigo status fields.

Ideally, I'd like the plugin to attempt reconnection every X seconds. If that's already the case, it's not quite working as expected.

Secondarily and possibly even better, maybe I can just reload the plugin through some time-based script that Indigo itself executes. This is ugly, but it's a very quick blip of unreachability and it certainly is what I'm doing right now to resolve the problems by hand. In fact, I could even probably write something that would check the state of one or more cameras and then only execute the cron job if they're unreachable.

Does anyone have any insights on either method?

Last time this was happening to me ("unavailable") I found out I had an old version of the plug in. Are you up to date?

Yes, I'm running 1.6.4 already.
