[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed

Looks like these instructions https://medium.com/@moreless/how-to-fix ... 772d9dd14c would fix this error, but maybe there's another way.

Also, I have no idea how to put that fix into place, because all I'm doing is setting a DRI variable that's a security spy URL.

Made sure I had accepted the SecuritySpy web page self signed cert as valid on the Indigo box, but still getting

Code: Select all
http://localhost:8176/variable_url_redirect/redirect?name=CurrentCam load error: <urlopen error [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:727)>

Sonoma on a Mac Mini M1 running Airfoil Pro, Bond Home, Camect, Roku Network Remote, Hue Lights, DomoPad, Adapters, Home Assistant Agent, HomeKitLinkSiri, EPS Smart Dimmer, Fantastic Weather, Nanoleaf, LED Simple Effects, Grafana. UnifiAP

Re: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify fail

The 2nd and 3rd answers here might be the easier fix to implement:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/429 ... u/42982144

I’m familiar with the windows version of putting the certs into a .pem with notepad so plugins will be able to use that - not sure how Indigo implement that though?

See my instructions here for a potential change to Indigo's Web server that might avoid the error.
