Python version and Plugin installation changes coming

We are updating to Python 3.11 in the next release and updating the preinstalled packages. While it's unlikely that this will directly affect your scripts or plugins, it is possible, so just a heads-up. If your scripts have dependencies that you earlier installed with pip3, then you will need to install them again. We hope to have the release out early next week.

If your plugins have dependencies, then you may need to do the dependency install again if the developer of the plugin hasn't updated to the new automatic dependency processing. Several plugins which have requirements will have an update available in the Plugin Store that will automatically install the dependencies when they are installed and activated, so check there.

Plugin developers: with this release, we will be automatically processing any requirements.txt file that we find in the Server Plugin folder. If your plugin contains one and you haven't already heard details about this change, send us an email to developer-relations@indigodomo.com and we'll give you the details so you can make sure that your plugin is ready.
