iTunes Plugin Not Working

Edit: Got the plugin working now for the life of me I can't remember how I
populated the iTunes variables. Indigo is a lot more challenging when
you have no memory.

I see I could populate them using the, "Insert Device State Action" but I never set that
up and my variables were still populating just fine. I assume they were set with a script
but for some reason whatever was setting them has stopped working.

The iTunes device seems to be working normally, showing all the iTunes info.

Any idea what could have changed or broken?

Thanks,

Carl

Re: iTunes Plugin Not Working

You have to re-pair the device - open the device config UI and follow those directions. If that doesn't work, then change your iTunes Server device to something else (like an X10 device) and save it. Then edit it again, reset it to an iTunes Server device and follow the pairing instructions.

Re: iTunes Plugin Not Working

Thanks Jay, I just went with using the "Insert Device State" to populate the variables.
Seems to work fine.

Re: iTunes Plugin Not Working

I was answering the first post on how to fix the device (it's better if you don't materially change posts - if you fix your own problem just post a follow-on to reduce confusion).

The iTunes plugin doesn't update variables since you can use the device states directly rather than variables. You probably had the iTunes sync script running also and that was updating the variables.

Re: iTunes Plugin Not Working

Thanks. I did do a lot of edits on the posts...bad idea.
