I started working on an elk plugin myself before Jay directed me to your thread. I also have an m1xep. I just got my plugin working, but it's very rudimentary.
-polls elk for actives zones and their names, then uses this to populate the states list
- updates alarm state and zone states based on messages from the elk
- actions for arm and disarm

I took a quick look at what you've got and it looks light years ahead. But, if I can be of any help, please let me know.

Sorry I have been totally slammed at work and haven't had time to work on this. I'm going to try and fix the name thing this weekend.

I've updated the plugin to pull the names of the zones, and thermostats, from the M1.

I'm going to start a new post with download info since this thread has kind of strayed from it's original subject :)
