Google TV Control - Python Code Help?

Hi Everyone,

I want to have my bedroom Sony Google TV turn on when I turn off the TV in my living room. I already use the DirecTV plug in to turn on the box and turn to the channel I want but can't figure out how to get the google TV to turn on over the network. I have a static ip address assigned to it so I shouldn't need to alter the code once I have it.
