Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

Anyone see a way to plot two, or more, data points on the same chart?

Thanks,

Carl

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

This looks promising although I haven't had a chance to test it as of yet:

I logged in with my Cosm.com info. Then clicked on DEVELOP. At the bottom of the website you should see "Legacy Feeds" with your old feeds listed.

Just when you find a decent graphing solution they go and do this.. WTF

Anyone figure out how to select the time / date range, like you could with cosm??

Grrrrrrrr

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

I can't seem to find a way to extend the range beyond the last few hours.

Maybe http://www.highcharts.com can be used either directly (would have to figure out a way to connect it with Indigo), or to access Xively data and display the requested range.

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

Does anyone have an AppleScript to upload data from an Indigo variable to Xively? I used to use the script at http://perceptiveautomation.com/userfor ... osm#p57022, but it stopped working a few months ago. I've tried to update it, without success.
Thanks!
George

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

I have been thinking about how to publish data out also.

After reading the thread, I wonder if another approach would to be to use python and write data to google spreadsheets.
Doing that not only allows you to build whatever charts/ graphs or other visualizations you want, but could also offer up something interesting in terms of creating a google now / glassware app down the road.

This link provides an example of API use.

Doesn't look too difficult.

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

You can finally generate a timeline on the Xively site, sort of like you used to be able to do on cosm.com. Still not as good as it used to be. :?

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

I have been reading this thread and am not good at programming yet.

Is there a way of summarizing how to graph temp and humidity from an Indigo feed? I have Indigo and have temp and humidity already being sensed via Zwave.

Thank you.

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

I use Indigo with MRTG, http://oss.oetiker.ch/mrtg/ for temperature, humidity and dew point. It takes some getting used to but is quite flexible.

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

Does this work on a Mac? I appreciate any list of a few steps to get me going.

Re: Indigo and Cosm.com

From the website (MRTG)
MRTG is written in perl and works on Unix/Linux as well as Windows and even Netware systems.
