Back in the day, I used HAL for boot / shutdown audio on my work pc.

Nice! My coolest sound way back was for new email... had Samuel L. Jackson's "Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?" from Pulp Fiction (gunshot included).

I didn't change the boot sound too often, but at one point I used Eruption by Van Halen.

For an error beep I used to use "I'm tryin to think but Nothin happens"... But I never could find a good excuse to use the "I don't know...Third base".

Hilarious! I used that for MANY MANY years as my error beep too!

No custom response but you could do an Alexa announcement as part of the indigo action group. She would say it after saying Ok.
