[SOLVED]mail check takes excessive CPU

I'm a relative newcomer to the Indigo crowd - having spotted an article re: Indigo 6 on automatedhome.co.uk. I'm running 6.0.4.

During periods of low broadband speed (separate issue and a long story) I find that Indigo consumes a lot of CPU (2.5 cores worth). This is due to It scanning email, or trying to scan email. Is it possible to make Indigo a little less keen to check for email? By this I mean add a brief sleep in the loop where it presumably checks for a connection to the mail server (rather than a period between checking emails).

thanks for a great product and community.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Send me an email (indigo-support AT perceptiveautomation.com). We'll need to troubleshoot this offline to pinpoint where in the email checking process it is occurring.

To close out this thread, I have not been able to re-create the issue with new broadband provider - even when physically isolating the network from the internet / google email server.
