Connection to Indigo Server failed

I've downloaded the IndigoTouch app and installed it on my iPhone.
It works and it even is capable of finding my Indigo Server using Bonjour.
But when I try to connect I get this message:

Service Unavailable
Connection to Indigo Server failed:
<hostname>.local.

The Indigo Client application is working OK and I'm using the default ports.

It looks like it's not getting the Bonjour hostname correctly - do you have a hostname set for that computer?. Did you make sure that the server got restarted correctly when you installed the 4.0b2 release? You might want to shut the server down, make sure that there are no Indigo components running (enter: "ps -ax | grep Indigo" without quotes into a terminal window and make sure nothing but the ps line comes back OR you can just reboot... ;) )

To work around the problem, you can manually add the ip:port by going to Settings and selecting "Manually Add Server".

It's working now.

But I'm a bit confused.
I thought I had to use the port for remote Indigo client access, which defaults at 1176. But that didn't work.

Then I read another post where Matt suggested the default port 8176. But in my configuration that port does not exist. I use the default port 8000 for the remote client access.

If I add the server manually using port 8000 everything works.
But the Bonjour access still fails. Even after manually quiting all Indigo components and restarting them.

And the Bonjour problem is solved.

I'm running the Squid proxy server and my iPhone was using it to connect to the internet via WiFi.
After removing the proxy settings the Bonjour connection started to work.

Port 1176 is the port for the Indigo Cocoa client to access the Indigo Server. Indigo Touch, however, accesses the Indigo Server through the Web Server which runs on port 8176 by default (default 8000 for some folks).
