Hello,
I keep receiving a message on Indigo Touch saying Malformed XML packet received from Indigo server.
Does anyone have any ideas on what’s causing it?

Thanks
Martin

This is usually caused by pointing to the wrong port. It looks like you're using a manually added IP/port - make sure that it's using the correct port (specified in the Start Local Server dialog - the default is 8176 but it can be changed).

Happens to me regularly with Touch… on an iPad ONE.

Yes, I have an original iPad in daily service!

Sorry for the delay in replying, I’ve been away for the weekend.
I’ve tried a couple of things this evening but it’s still doing it, I’ve checked the port and that’s ok, I’ve restarted the iMac just incase, which has helped, it’s only doing it 1 or 2 times an hour and not every 2-5mins.

I too have an iPad 1, maybe it’s just it’s time. I also have an iPhone 4 doing the same thing in a room upstairs, but that one’s ok, it’s been rock solid for years.

I’ll keep trying some different things and I’ll report back.

Thanks for your help so far,

I think this is now corrected itself with a mixture of restarting the iMac the router and the iPad!
It’s been stable for a couple of days now, so all good.
