We'd gladly offer him a job if you provided his salary!

Ha Jay, I doubt he'd accept what I could offer, two ex-wives have taken care of any disposable income I might have had!

@Terry
Have you ever posted a picture of one of your installs? I would love to see how you did it (if you're willing to share.)

I have thought numerous times about putting iPad's on the walls but can never bring myself to spend the $$$. I would probably have to breakdown and get some crappy Amazon tablets or something instead to save the $, and just use control pages. iPads would definitely be the bomb though

I tried the Goog Nexus 7s for a while but just didn't like them. You can get used but good iPad 1s all day for $100 now so it was an easy choice. They still have plenty of power for a touch screen device and the quality is better (imho, ymmv, etc) than similarly priced Android tablets. I'll continue to stick with them, even if I have to do a custom app or html interface.
I don't think I have posted anything since I switched to Indigo several years back. I'll see if I can get something together in a separate thread. It may be a couple of weeks though, got a lot going on at work and home for the next several days. :-/
