Gary, thanks for all the work you're doing. Can you add me to the beta invite list once Apple gets it's act together (pain, isn't it?)... ;)

No worries Jay, do you want it for iOS too? Also, can you DM me your email address please thanks.

Hey guys, Just wanted to post another update.

Apple are currently holding the tvOS app and the iOS update with digest authentication in review.

There is no way I can hurry them along, but I will let you know when it's all out.

Hey guys, Apple have approved the tvOS app before approving the beta. Home Remote for tvOS is out now.

Bear in mind that unless you have the beta of Home Remote 2.7 for iOS then commands that need digest authentication won't work.

However, if Home Remote is working for you now then go and get the tvOS version.

Jay has been very helpful and given Home Remote it's own forum, which is where all updates about Home Remote will now continue.

http://forums.indigodomo.com/viewforum.php?f=186

If you want beta access to Home Remote 2.7 for iOS then send me a PM.

Definitely happy about the increased spec of Series 1, and reduced price.

That means the eBay market price for those who are upgrading can't be higher than the new retail price of the upgraded models or they wouldn't sell.

I'm probably looking for said eBay version!

Even the standard Apple Watch is fantastic with watchOS 3 as you can keep frequently used apps loaded... this is going to make it even better.

Yeah watchOS 3 really makes it a useful device rather than just a toy!

I'm happy to hear about the wOS speed boost on apps--the Remote is a real pain now.

Surprised there was no mention of Edition watches (not that I have one) but I guess people who buy them can casually toss the old ones away no matter how much they cost new.

Actually the ceramic white is labeled as an edition watch. I was interested in it until I found that out.

This has been a request for many years (since the first AW came out), but I gave up, and went for Telldus/Nexa instead.

Not at the moment. I think most people that want Apple Watch integration use the HomeKit Bridge plugin to control via Siri. I believe there's also some discussion about Shortcuts being available on the Apple Watch at some point (which will likely enable some kind of touch control from the Watch), though I haven't really been paying attention to that.

It is on the list but demand has been extremely low (despite the lurker above). I think voice control has pretty much surpassed physical control on a smart device.

For me Voice control is not convenient, especially without authentication. I would like to have basic Indigo control on the watch, kind of like apple remote.

Have you tried the HomeKit Bridge plugin? You can then use the Home app on the Apple Watch to do basic control I think (I don't personally use it so I don't know for sure)...
