Weird delayed reaction on iPhone

Hi

We have multiple iOS devices running Indigo Touch (old iPod, iPad 1, and two iPhone 4's). One of the iPhone 4's has a delayed response. The wheel spins a lot more than on the other machines and it can take a whole minute for an action to take place after pushing something on a control page.

I can't figure out what's different - the two iPhone 4's are set up the same way.

It seems that deleting the app and reinstalling helps for a while.

Anyone seen anything like this before? Any tips for debugging?

Thanks
Alain

I'm not sure what could be going wrong. Are you sure the problem iPhone 4 is connecting to your local home Wi-Fi network (and not trying to connect via Edge/3G)?

While on local Wi-Fi or 3G/Edge?

Are other apps slow?

And describe in detail what you are seeing.

Re: Weird delayed reaction on iPhone

A year, later, and I'm still having the same problem.

While the iPhone is having trouble connecting, I can see error 408 timeout logs in the event log.

Re: Weird delayed reaction on iPhone

Please copy/paste what you see in the Event Log.

And describe in more detail what you are experiencing on the phone itself. For example, when exactly does the delay occur: when you first launch/open Indigo Touch and it connects, or does it then occur as you try to navigate to different screens and control devices? Also what (if anything) does the progress floating text in Indigo Touch say?
