GE Silver Touch Combination Fan and Light Control w/ Remote

Saw this GE Silver Touch Combination Fan and Light Control with Remote listed at Lowes.com. It says it works with Iris, which I believe is GE's implementation of z-wave. I'm wondering if I'll be able to control this from Indigo. I currently have a z-stick connected but not doing a whole lot. Anybody tried it?

Actually, Iris uses both Z-Wave and ZigBee. The packaging should have the Z-Wave emblem on it somewhere if it's Z-Wave though.

Thanks Jay, I'll check for that. Assuming it does use Z-wave it should work with Indigo and a z-stick, shouldn't it?

Well, it depends on how it's implemented. We may need to do some work to support it given that it probably functions as two separate devices (multiple personalities). Unfortunately, nobody has gotten one and used the Submit Device Information button to get us the information we'd need to check it out. You can try it and see - it's possible it'll just work. If not, however, it may take us a while to add support for it.
